hi sparx, a really touching photo. i just read hoto's post, which was also very touching. she was obviously a very special and treasured lady - and what incredible relationships you had with her!
I have been trying to leave you a comment for a few days but keep getting so upset. I can't read Hoto's post as I'm at work and will need to read it home, alone.
May your granny rest in peace and my thoughts are with you and your family. love and hugs. xx
Memories of my own grandmother and her death in a local hospital rushed back to me when I read Hoto's blog.
Thanks for the link and the photos. Even though it brought me to tears, it was, in a way, what I needed today to remind me there are others going through much tougher times and that though I am down, I really have no reason to be, other than to be down in sadness for you and your family. Yet at the same time I can be happy because you have so many amazing memories. Hang in there.
Thank you for sharing this treasured photo and Hoto's post. What moving words! I have resolved to be better at keeping up with my only living grandma who is now in her 80s.
What a sweet photo and Hoto's post was wonderful. I wish I had been blogging at the time of my grandma's passing. A regret of mine is that I didn't write something to be read at her funeral that captured her spirit. What a remarkable lady your grandma was, and she lives on in all of you.
Thanks everyone, I've read all the comments but just haven't had the heart to respond. Time moves on however and I really have appreciated all your words.
