The Bhablet is in the process of popping molars and while he doesn't seem to be in much pain, it's certainly had a bad effect on his sleep and temper.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10819608939555247317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-27312473082204607822008-03-17T15:35:00.000+00:002008-03-17T15:35:00.000+00:00It's teeth. We've gone from "is it his ears?" to "is it his teeth?" to "is it gas?" to "is it his teeth?" again. He very rarely sleeps the night through and we always wonder what it is causing it. I've had a coffee cup permenantly glued to my hand for 16 months now, sometimes I fill it with coffee instead of whiskey. Time for a re-fit! For better or worse ours is in the kitchen which means handy access to the washing machine for the spud to put all his toys in...

Ms. Anonymous - too kind, my dear too kind... you see I think I may need some of those excuses, Spuddy boy is yet to prove he is not actually satan's spawn!

Jenny - hope all goes well at the shop both working and selling! You've got so much energy for someone up the duff!

R&M - a joy indeed! Although I suspect we'd both rather have a sleepy baby at 5am!

Thanks everyone for coming by and commenting!Sparxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04075991922896922279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-29445118032075842412008-03-16T06:15:00.000+00:002008-03-16T06:15:00.000+00:00Sorry to hear about the teething induced lack of s...Sorry to hear about the teething induced lack of sleep and then the sleep induced lack of energy. Oh the joy of a happy baby at 5 AM! Thanks so much for stopping by, although I am more of a picture poster than a writer :) like you.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15563626559082151387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-12846515704730843422008-03-16T04:26:00.000+00:002008-03-16T04:26:00.000+00:00oh oh you poor dear!! My girls seemed to breeze through their teething fairly easily and then I've watched my nephews turn into Satan's spawn and quietly counted my blessings. I hope the next round won't be as tough on you OR the spud. When the girls did have a bit of chewing to do to help those teeth come through, I gave them a damp washcloth for them to chomp down on. Seemed to work and it helped mop up the drool as well.

Sweet dreams my dear, I'm off to work at the shop for the next few days and won't be posting as much. I've explained it on my most recent post.jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08772053505930801670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-55000718834839093312008-03-16T02:57:00.000+00:002008-03-16T02:57:00.000+00:00While I don't think you will need to find reasons ...While I don't think you will need to find reasons other than teething as I believe the Spud to be perfect in every way, just so you know I have a friend with Satan's Spawn as a child and it's actually amazing how many excuses one can find to brush away unlikeable behaviours in nasty little demons should it prove necessary. As I have said though, as the Spud is perfect this is a tactic you shan't be needing to employ.
(But just in case you are curious I can give you reasons why anything from punching your mother to destroying perfectly good Things just for the sake of it, are perfectly acceptable.)Ms Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01723744728044756687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-85358435034231861062008-03-16T00:23:00.000+00:002008-03-16T00:23:00.000+00:00I can't function at all if I don't sleep, so I re...I can't function at all if I don't sleep, so I really hope things get back to normal for all of you! Oh, and the laundry - I am definately losing the laundry battle. Having a laundry room on the main floor would be heavenly, but I have two flights of stairs to lug it up. Grrrr.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13164420416881517854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-46488311521995806002008-03-16T00:01:00.000+00:002008-03-16T00:01:00.000+00:00Cooper rang in his 1st birthday with 5 teeth, and ...Cooper rang in his 1st birthday with 5 teeth, and then spent the next 10 months cutting a new tooth every two weeks . . . it was like a demonic possession had taken over my child. Maren is currently cutting her third molar (because, really, why should they come in pairs?!) and I am again wondering where my happy-go-lucky child went. (I am also wondering why on Earth I decided to give this kid thing a third go-around, but that is a whole other story!) I hope your body regulates soon, and I hope all of the Spud's bad antics really are just teething related . . . or can be blamed on the Frog's genes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
