However, sadly, I am looking for the exact opposite: a few good reasons to stay. The perils of a budding career are many, and I am desperate to run (as I have so often done in the past.) I am proud to say that experience has taught me better and that I will resist because now is the time to let these roots bury deeply before I tear them up to gather more.
I suppose this blurt is all just to say: Dear Cousin, be warned - next time I allow myself to run, please be ready for my knock on your sunny Brixton door. ~CxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-23241894420967280522008-06-12T07:16:00.000+01:002008-06-12T07:16:00.000+01:00Spudders is quite possibly the cutest kid ever, in...Spudders is quite possibly the cutest kid ever, in line behind N3S of course! Their curls are so similar, look near the bottom on the right hand sidebar of my blog to see what I mean. My Mom is over for all of August (yes Chopper is delighted) and she is moaning about the weather over here already! She hasn't even packed her bags yet, let alone stepped off the plane into the rain and she is moaning! I three weeks in Englsnd we had 8 days of sunshine and the beaties of Devon and Cornwall to enjoy. Three days in London - it did actually stop raining once. Five days in Dorset - three of them sunny, the others showery. Last five days in London, ho-hum. Englands okay, it just doesn't like me visiting in London. So to stop all the squawks completely: we have had one sunny day since I got home in Canada and the river is rising for the second time this year as the final ice pack decides to let go of the scarp side of the Rockies. Even the dog refuses to walk very far and the cats don't want to go out.

Okay?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24354635.post-3209372438016446522008-06-10T06:15:00.000+01:002008-06-10T06:15:00.000+01:00What a perfect day! Thankfully, no. If I sit outside, though, there is a fairly high risk that I will turn tomato-red.

Basing a view of England on Mary Poppins can get interesting.
